Thinking of you cards are the hardest to do. I think they must convey the message of wishing all the best, uplift the recipient, but also be generic enough to be wanted to be kept longer on the display (since handmade cards tend to take me quite a while to do, I hope they do get kept rather than recycled, hence I only do them for people who appreciate the time involved :)).

This Sugar Nellie Tiffany digi stamp has been used recently on a card I made for a very special person, going through a tough time, and I hope it has conveyed that we are sending lots of love, hugs and kisses and that we pray that she will be all well.

Recently my second oldest daughter was sitting some exams and asked me for a good luck card. I've made a quick one, using Sugar Nellie Gorjuss Sitting Pretty stamp, although I must admit there was nothing quick about colouring her hair - it was my first attempt at black hair, and I'm sure if I do it again, it will be a bit better...but I am quite pleased with it anyway.

Today I had to make a "quick" card for a short-notice birthday invitation for my daughter's friend. I chose Tiddly Ink's Wryn, as her princess crown went well with the "princess party" theme.

I created card base with Tonic's header dies, and coloured the Tiddly Inks Wryn digi stamp with Spectrum Noir pens:

Frog: GT1, GT2
Crown & Wand: LY2, LY1

The glitter is from "Stamps by Chloe", sentiment stamp from Lilly of the Valley, and backing papers & ribbon from stash. The card is finished off with a personalised name tag.

I hope she really does have a magical birthday!
