"I Do" love wedding cards

"I Do" love wedding cards

For the past couple of weeks I've been making some more cards for my CraftsAdore shop, in between the colouring projects.

I do love white die cut cards, so there's now a range of monochrome cards in my "Wedding Cards" section, featuring Centura Pearl in Snow White with Gold flecks, backed on black cardstock. Many of my cards feature Tonic Studio Affections Dies, which are simply indispensable when creating wedding cards, but I am also partial to glitter, so there is a few cute cards featuring Stamps by Chloe too.

Home is Where the Heart is

Home is Where the Heart is

Today I'm attempting to do some simple home decor using Tonic Affection Dies. I adore anything heart shaped, so these are my favourite set of dies and I've used them before individually on my cards, but never as a full set on one project. I've been meaning to do it for a while but never had time to do it. It was quite time consuming to die cut all the layers. I used Centura Pearl Snow White with Hint of Gold, plain black card stock (if I had to do it again, I would have chosen some silver mirror card instead to soften the look) and some "bling" hearts, as well as sentiment stamp from Crafter's Companion.
The hearts are layered on foam pads, to give 3-dimensional effect. All three hearts are then glued onto wide ribbon and are now proudly hanging in my corridor, welcoming us back home after a busy day. I'm not sure about all 3 of them being together, as the design is quite "busy" so I may split them to be displayed individually in the future.

Have a Magical Birthday - Tiddly Inks Wryn Princess Birthday Card coloured with Spectrum Noir

Have a Magical Birthday - Tiddly Inks Wryn Princess Birthday Card coloured with Spectrum Noir

Today I had to make a "quick" card for a short-notice birthday invitation for my daughter's friend. I chose Tiddly Ink's Wryn, as her princess crown went well with the "princess party" theme.

Frog: GT1, GT2
Crown & Wand: LY2, LY1

The glitter is from "Stamps by Chloe", sentiment stamp from Lilly of the Valley, and backing papers & ribbon from stash. The card is finished off with a personalised name tag.

I hope she really does have a magical birthday!

Wee Stamps Bird Swing Anniversary Card Coloured with Spectrum Noir

Wee Stamp Bird Swing Anniversary Card Coloured with Spectrum Noir Pens

Today I'm quite chuffed to have finished my first commission for an anniversary card. The topper is done using a digi stamp from Wee Stamps - Birds Swing by Sylvia Zet. These birds are absolutely adorable - they just ooze love, don't they? I love all Sylvia Zet's digis, I've collected quite a few of them now.

Together Forever

The Spectrum Noir pen colours used are:
Birds BT1, IB1, BT3
Cheeks PP3, PP2
Beaks GB1, GB2
Flowers CR4, CR6, CR7 and a bit of glitter glue
Leaves LG1, LG2, LG3
Swing IG1, IG2

Flowers (and butterflies) are made from parchment, which was embossed with Embossalicious Cable Knit folder, and die cut using Crafters Companion Die'sire Quilling Flowers and Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms dies. The card size is 8x8 gold centural pearl, die cut with Tonic Affections Heart Base die and embossed with Chantilly Frame, and decorated with Liquid Pearls.

If I were to do this card again, I would add more butterflies, and I'd use less blush for the cheek (CR2 maybe?) - I think they are blushing so much, as if they're up to something...

My other favourite colours Spectrum Noir pen combination for these birds:
Birds IG1, IG2
Cheeks CR2
Beaks GB1
Flowers CR6, CR8, CR9 and a bit of glitter glue
Leaves LG1, LG3
Swing IB1, IB2, Blender
